The new TaylorMade TP5x features a coating with deeper dimples, which ensure optimal ball launch immediately after impact. The new dimple arrangement has significantly increased carry distance. It also features a highly responsive core, which practically bounces the ball off the club and immediately builds up tremendous speed. Once the core is fully compressed, a series of four increasingly stiff layers improves the energy transfer from the core to the cover. This crucial component, the HFM Speed Layer System, ensures that no clubhead speed is lost. In contrast to the TP5, the TP5x follows a steeper trajectory and gains altitude particularly quickly thanks to its modified dimple arrangement.
In summary, the TP5x surpasses all its predecessors. With it, TaylorMade has created a top-level tour ball that can compete with the Pro V1x or the Chrome Soft x. This ball is aimed specifically at experienced players.
